To obtain your referral links, please log in to the Ohio Markets IB Portal and follow the steps below.
Steps to access and share referral links
Step 1: Log in to the IB Portal
Sign in to your Ohio Markets IB Portal using your registered IB credentials.
Step 2: Open the “Referral Links” section
After logging in, navigate to the “Referral Links” section in the IB Portal dashboard.
From here, you can generate and share referral links with your clients for account registration or website access.
Once your clients register through your referral links, their accounts will be automatically linked to your IB account.
How to share referral links
Step 3: Select your preferred options
Before sharing a referral link, you can customize it based on your client’s needs:
1. Select a language
Choose the preferred language. Your clients will see the registration or website page in the selected language when they open the link.
2. Choose the link type
You may select one of the following options and click “Copy” or “Share”:
- Live Account
Directs clients to the Live Account registration page. - Demo Account
Directs clients to the Demo Account registration page. - Home Page
Directs clients to the official Ohio Markets website. Clients can navigate to the account opening page from there. - Download App
Directs clients to the app download or registration page.
Clients who use the Home Page link and then complete the account registration will still be automatically associated with your IB account.
Short link sharing option
The “Share using short link” option generates a shortened referral link.
This feature helps:
- Prevent unauthorized modification of your referral links
- Protect your IB referral rights
- Improve link sharing convenience
Customizing the invitation code
IBs can also create a custom invitation code for manual referrals.
How to customize an invitation code:
- Click “Customize” in the invitation code section
- Enter your New Invitation Code
- Click “Submit” to save the changes
Clients can enter this code in the “Referred By” field on the registration page to complete their account registration and link it to your IB account.
Important Notes
- Referral links and invitation codes are for IB use only
- Ensure links are shared accurately to avoid registration issues
- IB referral relationships are tracked automatically by the system
